The Bentley Continental GT V8 was unveiled in 2013 Frankfurt Motor Show. The Bentley Continental GT V8 are set to arrive in Bentley dealerships from early 2014.
Available in coupe and convertible body, they are versions of Bentley Continental GT V8 with increased engine power to 528 PS (388 kW; 521 hp)@6000rpm and 680 N·m (502 lb·ft)@1700rpm, increased agility and body control to match the engine's higher output, lowered suspension through an aerodynamic front splitter, discrete side sills and rear diffuser in Beluga gloss black; new exclusive 20-inch wheels with open-spoke design, red-painted brake calipers, optional new sports exhaust, optional duo-tone interiors, choice of interior trim in seventeen hide colours, unique contrast centre stripe for the hide-trimmed roof lining matching the colour of the main hide, knurled chrome detailing to the gearshift lever and ventilation controls, Piano Black veneers, 'V8 S' on each sill tread plate. With increases in power, torque and fuel efficiency; the Bentley Continental GT V8 S engine is renowned as one of the most technologically advanced of its kind. Designed in a unique 'W' configuration, it is the most compact 12-cylinder engine in the world.

The Bentley Continental GT V8 S is capable of running on the latest environmentally sustainable bio-fuels thanks to its advanced FlexFuel technology, allowing it to run seamlessly on gasoline, bioethanol (E85) or any combination of the two.

With a 40:60 (front:rear) split power ratio, the Bentley Continental GT V8 S feels even more poised for action and more controllable cornering.

The Bentley Continental GT V8 S is even faster than its predecessor. With its power output raised to an immense 575PS (567bhp/423kW) and 700Nm (516lb ft) of torque. In tandem with a new 8-speed Quickshift transmission, gear change times are reduced by 50 per cent, it will launch from standstill to 60mph in just 4.4 seconds and reach a top speed of 198mph (318km/h).
