$1M ENTRY TICKET! Only Ford GT Owners ALLOWED

I can finally reveal the true reason I brought my Ford GT to the US! Join me on GT Rally XIV in Arizona, with 100 Ford GTs new and old taking in the racetrack and canyon roads. We've got a lot of action with the GTs, plus news on the Mustang GTD and a unicorn GT I've been hoping to find!

Since taking delivery of my Ford GT back in 2018, I always hoped to one day be able to join one of the GT Rallies, organised by Dave from the Ford GT Forum. While the last took place in 2021 during the US travel ban period, things are finally up and running again with a return to Scottsdale and an opportunity to get involved with the Shmeemobile in a gathering larger than the number of total Ford GTs even found in the UK.

With a mixture of cars from the two different generations, approximately half and half, we have a few days of action including a visit to Apex Motor Club where I previously drove my Mustang Dark Horse, then a run up towards Sedona, before finally finishing off on the amazing canyons of the Tortilla Flats outside Phoenix. It's not every day you see $50M of Ford GT models driving together, but what a sight to behold with such a variety of Heritage Editions and special models with a hugely diverse colour spectrum.

One goal for my tour in the USA with the Ford GT, was to find and visit the elusive GT90, a one-off creation from the mid 90s. While it normally resides at the Hajek Motorsports Museum in Oklahoma, unfortunately I wasn't able to visit when we were in the state, but as luck has it, the very car then moved to the Petersen Museum in Los Angeles for display! Thanks to the team at the Petersen for making it possible to visit at late notice to take in this unique vehicle and understand what it's all about.

The GT Rally XIV could not have happened without the time and passion of both Dave and Chip, and I would like to extend a huge thanks to both of them and all involved for making this happen. It's taken until 2024 for me to join for the first time, but it definitely won't be the last! The GTs of both generations are such unique cars, and attract an unmatched group of enthusiasts and custodians of these cars.
