WHERE ARE PORSCHE!? 918 Successor to Rival F80/W1 CANCELLED

Have Porsche CANCELLED the Mission X!? With Ferrari and McLaren throwing their hats into the ring with new hypercars, is a successor to the 918 Spyder on the horizon? I'm at Magden Motors in Maryland to drive the legendary 918 Spyder and share with you some news on what's next.

Just over a decade ago we saw this incredible trio of hypercars that became known as the Holy Trinity; this featured the Ferrari LaFerrari, McLaren P1 and Porsche 918 Spyder. With Ferrari recently introducing F80, and McLaren presenting W1, speculation is rife that Porsche will go again with a follow-up to the 918; potentially in the form of the all electric Mission X Concept that was shown a couple of years ago.

Well, maybe not so simple. There are questions to ask here; is the Porsche badge powerful enough to make a success of an electric hypercar? Will Mission X arrive, or what about the 919 Street? Are we going to see yet another Holy Trinity, a decade on from the story that excited the entire automotive industry.
