ULTIMATE PETROLHEAD CHRISTMAS PRESENT! The Best Gift to Unwrap EVER

This is the ultimate Christmas Present for a petrolhead! It's the holidays, and that means an unwrapping at @TheShmuseum, but what could it be?! Join me for the unwrapping of this surprise, a throwback to the present unwrapping delivery of my McLaren Senna 4 years ago.

The present in question is the 1-of-1 life-size LEGO McLaren Senna, normally found on the Boulevard at the McLaren Technology Centre in Woking, England. Made from 470,000 LEGO Bricks, it's an accurate representation of the McLaren hypercar named after the greatest F1 driver of all time.

After taking delivery of the ultimate dream LEGO set at the garage, we've wrapped it up beside my real McLaren Senna, reminiscent of the delivery day of that car at the McLaren HQ as a present, 4 years ago. Safe to say, my wrapping skills have improved slightly since, but growing up as a kid dreaming of the next LEGO car to build, this is the absolute best!

The LEGO McLaren Senna took a team of 42 people a total of 5,000 hours to engineer and assemble, into a the full size car weighing 1,800kg (50% more than the car itself), but also with working functions like the lights, reversing camera, and a start button on the roof with accompanying V8 sound and even revs when pressing the accelerator pedal.

After unwrapping the present, we can fully explore this and compare with the real car beside it. Stay tuned also for the Behind The Scenes update from @TheShmuseum coming shortly.
