If you were given a blank check and entrance to the Rudi Klein junkyard, what would you take home? Rudi Klein was an LA-based salvage yard owner who specialized in rare and exotic cars. During his life, the massive collection was something of a secret, but now everything is out in the open and everything was already sold at a massive RM Sotheby’s auction which happened yesterday. Parts yards are always a mix of thrilling and sad, and even more so when the wrecks include gullwing Mercedes, Panteras still wearing period tires, and multiple Lamborghini Miuras.
