Alain de Cadenet, of Le Mans and Victory By Design fame, kicks off his debut episode of Homologation Specials behind the wheel of an absolute legend - the Ferrari 288 GTO. Intended to race in Group B, the 288 GTO never saw racing action as the series was cancelled. We, however, were then left with something divinely Ferrari, the 288 Gran Turismo Omologata.

Homologations Specials: A study of some of the very best cars homologated for racing from the Mitsubishi Pajero Evolution developed for rally raids to the Ferrari GTO built for Group B racing. Built in extremely limited numbers, these machines exist solely so that their manufacturers could challenge each other in the arena of motorsport.
