Driving My McLaren Senna for the FIRST TIME!
It's time for the handover, induction and a short first drive in my McLaren Senna! After revealing the car to you at the MTC, it's been back to McLaren Manchester to complete the shakedown, pre-delivery inspection and become legally registered for the road!
Join me at McLaren Manchester for an experience of the process behind picking up my Senna after all the work has been completed. Initially the car had undergone parts of the PDI before I whisked it down to the McLaren Technology Centre to reveal it to you all as the hypercar Christmas present. Following that it stayed in my garage for a few days due to the holiday period and limited working days before then returning back to undergo the road shakedown and tie up all the paperwork for registration so that it can be driven. Prior to this point it couldn't actually be taken on the road as it's a 2019 car!
After running through the induction tour with Saiqa, we pick out a few interesting highlights before I'll cover everything in more detail in a video that will come soon. Then it's time to whisk it outside for a short drive up the road through Wilmslow to Alderley Edge to get a small sense of what it's like. Of course before the car has been to Topaz for full PPF installation the speeds have to be kept low even though it has some elements of PPF already fitted to protect from early bits.
With a quick post on social media that I'd bring the car back to the showroom, it's then a return to talk to some of you - huge thanks to those that came along!
A thank you has to go to Saiqa and the team at McLaren Manchester for their help and service throughout the Senna experience, please do give them a follow:
