Meet the new Chevrolet Corvette Stingray Convertible.

The hard top may have been launched in Detroit, but the sun kissed plains of Geneva gets the drop top version of all-new Chevrolet's Corvette Stingray. A 6.2-litre V8 pumps out the same 450bhp and 450lb ft as in the hard top Stingray. It'll do a sub 4 second dash to 60mph from rest and should rock-on to a top speed over 180mph. Chevrolet claims the Stingray convertible weights the same as the hard top meaning power-to-weight should be on par. It may also give the established sports cars from Audi, Porsche, Aston Martin and Ferrari a good run for their cash.

It's lost the jazzy roof and rear spoiler of the hard top and gains a convertible roof but we still think it looks bang tidy.
