APPRECIATING LIKE CRAZY! Dream Drive in THIS Iconic Ferrari
Values of this Ferrari are going through the roof, and rightly so! My friend @458destroyer has bought this iconic supercar, and then entrusted me with the keys for a dream drive on some amazing roads. Let's find out what makes it quite so special in the best way possible!
I normally swing towards the Ferrari F50 as my favourite car; the combination of the V12 engine, open roof, gated manual, and being my first ever poster car, but arguably I'm the odd one out as the majority of people choose the Ferrari F40 as their top pick. The F40 was a 200mph monster in the 1980s of which 1,315 were and only 213 of those found their way to the United States, making it incredibly rare, especially when factoring in the demand.
A decade ago, a Ferrari F40 could be bought for $400,000 or less, even a few years ago it would be $1,000,000 but now it's shooting to the moon and they command $2,000,000 at least, or even $3,000,000 for a great example. We need to get to the bottom of this and how better to find out that driving it for myself on some fabulous roads for the occasion to enjoy the experience.
After checking out the car in question, an original US spec example, it's time to start it up and hear the straight pipe exhaust attached to the 2.9l twin turbo V8 and get it out for a drive. This is where it comes to life, and everything starts to make sense, what a car!
