All-new AC Cobra: carbon body, 654bhp, world exclusive drive!

AC is launching an all-new Cobra model, completely unrelated to any Cobra that has come before.

The new Cobra GT Roadster has an aluminium chassis, carbon fibre body and a supercharged 5.0-litre Ford V8 engine making up to 654bhp. There's only one prototype on the road, this is it, and Autocar is the only channel to have driven it.

The Cobra GT Roadster will be built in small numbers on the south coast of England and each will cost £312,000. (A non-supercharged version will be a little cheaper and less powerful.)

Join Matt Prior as he talks you through this brand new car, AC's story, how the new Cobra came about, and what this unique pre-production prototype is like to drive.
