2025 4Runner TRD Pro and New Trailhunter

The 2025 Toyota 4Runner lineup features two high-end, off-road focused trims, each for different use cases. New for 2025, the Trailhunter is optimized for overland-style off-road exploration and rockier trail work. As such, it has additional skidplates and more robust rock sliders that are bolted directly to the frame. The TRD Pro is geared more toward high-speed desert running and is fitted with Fox QS3 shocks with manually adjustable compression “clicker” adjustments. Toyota has said that the pushbutton differential locker is a standard fare for the TRD Off-Road, TRD Pro, and Trailhunter. What are your initial thoughts of the new 4Runner?
