Day 2 of The 2022 Four Wheeler Overland Adventure Presented by Jeep opened with yet another spectacular sunrise giving the drowsy souls a chance to recall whether the tarantula- and scorpion-hunts from the previous night were a reality or merely dreams.

The expedition's fearless leader and desert history expert extraordinaire, Sean Holman, roused the crowd and prepared everyone for the trails ahead. Plan: traverse Joshua Tree National Park—but not in the way most tourists do. The General Patton Tank Museum as well as another night of backcountry camping were also in the cards.
