2016 Cadillac ATS-V Review - Baby Aston Martin?
2016 Cadillac ATS-V Review. The 2016 Cadillac ATS-V sets its ambitions high to take down the BMW M3, Mercedes AMG C63, and Lexus RC-F. The ATS-V features a 3.6L twin turbo producing 464 horsepower and 445 lb-ft of torque.
There are two transmission options, a 6 speed manual with downshift rev-matching and no lift shifting, and an 8 speed automatic unit, the same gearbox out of the Corvette Stingray. Performance elements include high capacity cooling all around, including a rear diff cooler totaling six water and oil coolers, launch control, Brembo brakes, magnetic ride suspension, an electronic limited slip diff, a carbon fiber hood with an air extractor reducing drag and lift, quad exhaust tips and one of my favorite features, the Performance Data Recorder. PDR is something I’d be happy for every sports car to come with.
MSRP As Tested: $75,775.00
