The BMW Concept 4 Series Coupé adds a new dimension to the qualities of the BMW 3 Series Coupé in terms of aesthetics, dynamics and elegance.
Have a look at the first "4 Series" concept with perfectly balanced coupé proportions.
BMW will produce the F80 M3 for the 2014 model year, introducing it at the 2013 Geneva Motor Show as only a sedan. This fifth generation M3 will have a turbocharged straight six-cylinder engine. It is expected to generate 450 horsepower and will not offer a manual transmission, but rather a seven-speed dual-clutch gearbox. The platform structure will be made of steel, with the hood and doors from aluminum.
BMW M3 E90/92/93
The fourth generation BMW M3 was announced on the 2007 Geneva Motor Show (Switzerland, March 6--18th, 2007) with the BMW M3 concept.
As was the case with the E46 M3 Concept and E60 M5 Concept, the M3 Concept had almost nothing of the looks of the production version, that had its world premiere on the 2007 Frankfurt Motor Show IAA (Germany, September 13 to 23).
It was originally set to be called M4 along with 3 Series coupes and convertibles that were to become the 4 Series, but due to the interest in retaining the M3 line, this change was scrapped. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/BMW_M3
